Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the demonstration method in teaching prayer to 7th-grade students at SMPN 2 Plemahan. The research questions include how the planning, implementation, and outcomes of the demonstration method in teaching prayer are conducted. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The demonstration method was chosen due to its relevance to the radical constructivism approach, which emphasizes learning through experience and direct student involvement in the learning process. The results of the study show that the implementation of the demonstration method has a significant positive impact on students' understanding and skills in performing prayer. Students who actively participated in the demonstration process showed clear improvements in their understanding of the movements and recitations of prayer, as well as greater confidence in performing prayer independently. These findings emphasize the importance of the demonstration method in teaching religious practices and recommend further development in teacher training and provision of adequate facilities.
