Abstract

This research uses the approach of Child Development Psychology to photograph the internalization of the value of moderation in the Magetan Islamic Elementary School. Meanwhile, in the use of research methods, qualitative approaches and types of case studies were chosen by the researchers because of the specific characteristics of the research location. The results of the study stated the basic values ??used for inculcating the value of religious moderation that have been applied in the first grade are: (1) Aqidah, including: knowing various religions and their holy books, memorizing Asmaul Husna and their meanings, recognizing the names of the Angels and their duties, recognizing names Prophets and their miracles, knowing the history of the Prophet, mention God's creation. (2) Worship, including: (a) knowing the meaning of prayer, fasting, zakat, and qurban, (b) practicing ablution and praying well, (c) memorizing prayer readings, adhan, iqamah, daily prayers, intentions ablution, prayer, and fasting; (d) performing prayers and fasting exercises, (3) morals, including: (a) behaving politely: giving and returning greetings, thanking, asking and apologizing, being friendly, asking for help well, and not disturbing those who are worshiping/ study; (b) discipline: arriving on time at school, obeying study and rest hours, implementing rules and regulations without being reprimanded; (4) Reading the Qur'an.
