Abstract

Fiqh is one of the subjects taught at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. When learning online, this subject is perceived as a subject that is less interesting and boring for students, because the scope of the material is very broad and students are required to memorize the contents of the subject matter and practice it, so that this subject is less interesting, monotonous, and less varied. if only in online learning is done by reading the material and doing the questions.

The research in this article uses a qualitative approach. In collecting data using the method of observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive technique.

The results of this study are the use of visual cartoons as online learning media at MI Islamiyah Slumbung sent through the WA group, the content of the material in the cartoon visual media is determined according to the needs and objectives. The effectiveness of Cartoon Animation as an online learning medium for Fiqh subjects at MI Islamiyah Slumbung is quite effective to support online learning because it is supported by a very good display quality and easily accepted by students, the presentation of material is clear and displays concrete things so that students easily understand the material, interactions can be added through WA groups so that teachers and students can be active in learning even though they are online
